Worship & the Arts at CHPC offers a wide diversity of experiences and ministry opportunities to anyone who wants to be involved. Over one hundred volunteers support the vision of this department.

Staff

  • Sam Routzon, Communications / Worship, oversees publication of worship guides, music packets, and other support materials, and helps in the administration of everything else in the department.
  • Brian Donaldson, Chancel Choir Director and Kaleidoscope Band Leader, received his Bachelor of Music degree from Cincinnati Christian University and did Master’s work at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Brian sings with Vocal Arts Ensemble of Cincinnati and the May Festival Chorus. Brian teaches on the voice faculty at Cincinnati Christian University and at Musical Arts Center in O’Brianville.
  • Aretha Chapman, Kaleidoscope Worship Leader, started performing at age ten from school plays to singing in the local church. Over the years, she has had major roles in musical productions, appeared on Trinity Broadcasting Network, and has released music CDs, as well as performing at Paul Brown Stadium.
  • Al McKinney, Sound Technician Team Leader, provides audio and technical support for various events and services. While their main ministry is to provide support for the Sunday services, the audio team also works with various other events, whether it is an outdoor community gathering or Music and Drama Camp.
