Traditional Worship – 9 am

What is it like?

Our traditional worship service taps into the rich history of music, arts, and liturgy from around the world and throughout the 2,000-year history of the church.  The music at this service is ordinarily performed by our choir and accompanied by either piano or organ.  On special occasions, there will also be brass, strings, and woodwind instruments to accompany the choir.  The service typically lasts one hour.

  • Ages: 3 yrs – Prekindergarten, Enrichment Time, Barnabas Center, Rm. 106
  • Ages: Kindergarten – Grade 3, Children and Worship: Children begin worship with family in the Sanctuary, then go to the Prayer Room for a children’s worship time

10am-11am Summer Sunday mornings

A space for everyone to gather for coffee, conversation, and food.

This Summer, between the services, we will enjoy coffee, tea and breakfast pastries. All are invited to Refresh in conversation with one another – reach out to someone you don’t know or re-engage with an old friend. Tables and chairs will be available in the Fellowship Hall, atrium and the courtyard between the sanctuary and the ministry center (unless weather doesn’t permit). The playground will be open and the nursery (6 weeks through PreK) will be open. Board games will be available for anyone who wants to play. There may also be special tables designed for a particular discussion topics – like the sermon. Refresh will start on June 11 and end on September 3.

There will not be any children, youth or adult classes during the summer (from June 11 to September 3) so that all can Refresh. Come and enjoy God’s gifts of food, drink and community.

“For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you.” Philemon 7
