This Sunday, we start our 8-week journey into the book of Revelation. The Apostle John shares his vision of the power of God demonstrated in Jesus to inspire and empower the church in the first century as they face violent, even deadly, opposition. Take a few minutes now to read Revelation 1 and note the various descriptions of Jesus. What do these names and phrases tell us about our Lord? How are you encouraged by the strong reminder of the character and nature of our Savior?
