Traditional Worship

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir leads worship during the traditional 9am service at CHPC. You do not need to be able to read music as long as you can follow a tune. We meet to practice on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30pm. Call time is 8am on Sunday morning. The choir year is from September through the first week of June.

Orchestra

The CHPC Orchestra is made up primarily of CHPC members with a few special guests. The orchestra practices weekly on Thursdays from 5:45 - 7pm and leads worship of the 3rd Sunday each month in the Traditional Service. The Orchestra Season is September through May.

Handbells

The CHPC Handbell Choir is under the direction of Dr. Carl Bryant. The group practices weekly on Tuesday evenings and performs at the Traditional Worship services September through May.

Contemporary Worship

Worship Band

The Worship Band leads worship during the Contemporary Service. Musicians are expected to learn the music during the week and arrive on Sunday morning at 9am prepared to play the selected songs. Practice takes place until worship at 10:30 am.

Lead Vocalist

Our featured vocalists lead the contemporary worship service as a part of the worship band. There are generally between 1-4 lead vocalists on any Sunday that perform together. An Audition is required.
