CELEBRATE MAY AT CHPC!

May is one of my favorite months. I love when all the spring flowers start blooming, my grass turns green and everything looks fresh and clean. It is a great time for celebrations - Mother's Day, graduation, weddings, end of school, and the start of summer! We have lots of fun ways to celebrate with your family here at CHPC this month. Be sure to add events to your calendar and think about who might want to celebrate with you!

Our next Sunday Funday is May 18th and we will be celebrating with an outdoor worship and cookout. During the service, we will have a special recognition of our graduates and dedication of the new memorial park benches that have been placed around the campus (no more splinters!). CHRISTIAN SEXUALITY TRAINING - FRIDAY, MAY 2 (6:30-9:30PM)

This is the final session of the parent/guardian training centered around conversations about Jesus, sex and gender. This session will focus on dating & friendship, sex in the world, and following Jesus in this sexualized age. Please register in advance for dinner count and let us know if you need childcare.

Please join us for a healing and prayer service in the Sanctuary. Come receive prayer for your own healing, or prayer for others.

ANCHORED - SATURDAY, MAY 17 (7:00PM)

Join us for Anchored this month on May 17th at 7pm. We will hear from our Jesus University ballet instructor and her husband (The Brandy’s) on “As long as we both shall live”. They remind us of young love and young marriage. You won’t want to miss their story!

RECOGNITION OF GRADUATES - Sunday, May 18th (10:30am during worship)

We want to recognize our CHPC family who are celebrating a graduation milestone! All registered graduates receive a certificate and gift.

GRAD GRAB - SUNDAY MAY 18TH (AFTER WORSHIP, DURING COOKOUT)

Our graduates, primarily the younger ones 🙂 will be participating in a "walk by parade" of the 3Cs teachers and others who want to have a treat for the kids. Its a fun tradition for 3Cs that we are expanding to all.

All classes will be celebrating with their families at Rooted Community Church (1016 W North Bend Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45224).

Pack a lunch and bring a nut-free dessert or side to share.

FOREVER YOUNG - WEDNESDAY, MAY 28 (12-2PM)

You Think You Know Cincinnati? Our speaker, Rick Kennedy, may surprise you with all the products and technology that has been developed in Cincinnati through the years. Kennedy was a 30-year Media Manager with GE Aviation, music writer and performer, author, and speaker. He has performed numerous times at Marty's Hops and Vines, and has a garage band based in Finneytown. 

Lunch will be served at noon, followed by the speaker. Tickets are $10 and reservations are encouraged as this event will be very popular! Please RSVP at www.chpc.org/seniors

OUTSIDE PRAYER & COFFEE - SATURDAY, MAY 31 (10AM-12PM)

Join us for outside prayer and coffee as we gather together to pray with and for our College Hill community. We will hold prayer in the parking lot, so bring a lawn chair and come enjoy coffee, fellowship, and prayer.

SWIM MINISTRY - VARIOUS DATES IN JUNE AND JULY

Swimming Instruction with an Eternal Difference

The Goal of the CHPC Swim Ministry is to equip students for what the American Red Cross describes as ‘survival’ swimming. An integral part of such survival is being relaxed and confident in the water so that swimming is fun. Our focus is not on speed or beautiful swimming. We prepare students for a lifetime relationship with water, including the Living Water, Jesus Christ…the rest will follow.

CONNECTIONS CAMP - JUNE 23-26 (9AM-12:30PM), FAMILY CARNIVAL JUNE 27 (5:30-8:30PM)

Step Right Up to Connections Camp 2025!

We are inviting children K-6th grade to experience a fun-filled week while learning about spiritual habits.

Camp is Monday - Thursday, June 23-26 from 9am - 12:30pm each day. Friday, June 27 we will end the week with a FAMILY CARNIVAL from 5:30-8:30pm.
