Today is Holy Thursday, and Jesus transforms a meal into a spiritual feast for any and all who come to him. Read Matthew's account of this special day by clicking here. Read the whole chapter, but Thursday starts with verse 17. What do you appreciate about Jesus on this day? How does he treat the disciples? How would you characterize his prayers? When have you prayed like that? What words do you have for Jesus in response to what he did this day? 

Prayer for Holy Week 

God, as we walk through Holy week toward the cross,

May we remember the wonder of who you are.

Beyond sin, your love is inexhaustible,

Beyond brokenness, your forgiveness is incomprehensible.

Beyond betrayal, your grace is poured out eternally,

Beyond death, your life is unimaginable.

Beyond human understanding, Your ways are always higher than ours.
