1. Prayer for 32 New Tutors to Be Called Forth at CHA

Lord, we ask You to go ahead of us and stir the hearts of 32 men and women to say "yes" to walking alongside a child this school year. Let them feel the nudge of Your Spirit and respond in obedience and joy. Let them know they don’t need to be perfect just present. Equip them with compassion, patience, and hope. Raise up a team that reflects the diversity and heart of Your Kingdom.

2. Prayer for Returning Tutors

Father, thank You for the faithful tutors who have served at CHPC. Encourage them as they consider returning. Rekindle their sense of purpose and remind them of the eternal seeds they’ve planted. Bring them renewed joy and strength to serve again with fresh vision and deeper connection.

3. Prayer for Students and Families

God, we lift up every student who will participate in Whiz Kids this year. Prepare their hearts to receive love, truth, and encouragement. Surround their families with peace, provision, and support. May this ministry be a safe place where children grow in confidence and hope, and where families feel seen, valued, and loved. Let CHA and CHPC sites be lights on a hill in our community.

4. Prayer for August 17 Scholarship Ask - $3,800 Goal

Heavenly Father, as we prepare for our August 17th scholarship ask, we trust you as our provider. Stir generosity in the hearts of our church family and community. Let people see the value of investing in a child's future. May every dollar given help cover curriculum, materials, snacks, and opportunities that make this ministry thrive. Let our $3,800 goal be met and even exceeded as a testimony to your faithfulness.

5. Prayer for Protection and Unity

Lord, cover every tutor, student, and family with your divine protection physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Guard each site and make them safe havens of peace and learning. We ask for supernatural unity with our partners at College Hill Academy and City Gospel Mission. May our teams serve together with joy, humility, and shared vision. Let no division, distraction, or confusion hinder the work You want to do.

6. Prayer for Relationships and Overflow

Jesus, let strong, life-giving relationships form between tutors, students and families and let those relationships open doors for deeper discipleship and trust. We pray for an overflow of connection into other ministries at CHPC - Sunday School, Connections Club, Tribe 12, Jesus University, and beyond. May families drawn in through Whiz Kids find lasting community and hope in you.

7. Prayer for Expanded Reach

Holy Spirit, enlarge our territory. Let our CHA Whiz Kids site become a growing hub of transformation and love in College Hill. Use this ministry to reach families we’ve never connected with before. Go before us into the schools, neighborhoods, and homes opening hearts and doors to the Gospel through tutoring, relationships, and love in action.
