Elizabeth Ross

Contemporary Worship Director

Elizabeth Ross is the Contemporary Worship Director at College Hill Presbyterian Church (CHPC), where her passion for music and ministry intersects. She is also a graduate student at the University of Cincinnati, pursuing a Master’s of Music in Theory. Elizabeth’s dedication to teaching music theory stems from her desire to bring understanding and encouragement to students to support the enhancement of their professional music careers.

After relocating to Cincinnati for her studies, Elizabeth was introduced to CHPC through a colleague who invited her to substitute as an alto section leader. Instantly captivated by the church’s blend of classical and contemporary worship, she felt a deep connection and found a perfect fit for her diverse musical interests.

A skilled Horn player and vocalist, Elizabeth's musical journey began in her hometown of Spring Hill, TN. Her early exposure to music and the ever-evolving music industry was enriched through her participation in orchestras, classical choirs, and a contemporary worship band at her home church.

Elizabeth met her husband, Kennedy, in Spring Hill before moving to Dallas to complete her undergraduate studies at Dallas Baptist University. In her spare time, she enjoys quality moments with her family, watching movies, going to the gym, and organizing her house.

Upon completing her Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in May 2025, Elizabeth plans to pursue a PhD in Music Theory. Her ultimate goal is to teach at the college level and obtain an administrative leadership role within academia. Elizabeth’s journey reflects a seamless integration of her musical expertise, organizational skills, and enduring commitment to ministry, illustrating how the Lord has woven these threads into a fulfilling and impactful career.
