We aren’t pursuing reconciliation because it’s politically correct. We aren’t pursuing it because it’s social-do-goodism. We seek to live the reconciling power of God’s Kingdom. We know reconciliation is important to Jesus, and we want to care for everything that Jesus cares about. He wants a church that serves as a witness to the world of the unifying power of the cross and transforming power of the resurrection. We want to lead our neighborhoods and our city in the way of peace.
Big task, yes, but we serve a big God. Thanks for leading on this journey of Jesus’ reconciling power. Drew
